Introduction

Truck parking sensor kit uses ultrasonic sensor to scan obstacles and a display to indicate the distance from the rear of the vehicle to a person or obstacle. The driver is able to confidently determine how close the potential danger is.

Application

●Designed for commercial truck, tractor, bus etc.

●Work with both 12v or 24v

●Includes both a buzzer and a visual display indicating the distance to an obstacle

●Parking sensor integrated into head unit

Function

When the vehicle slows to approximately 10 mph and the left indicator is turned on, the system is activated. As the vehicle approaches between 600-800mm of an obstacle, the display will light the GREEN light on the display but with no audio. When an obstacle approaches within 400mm, the display will light a red light and with continuous internal audio. When the handbrake is applied, the system switches to a standby mode.
