Q: Why fluctuations and errors of the detection range found when testing the BSD?
+
A: If the installation height and angle of rear radar is not correct, it will cause fluctuations and errors of the detection range.
Q: Why BSD rebounded signal is very weak?
+
A: If the surrounding environment has too much metal material, microwave penetration would be weakened and the signal rebounded which may cause false response.
Q: Why BSD receive multiple echo signals?
+
A: If a larger truck or semi-trailer passes in the same direction, the microwave will receive multiple echo signals due to its long body which would result in false alarm.
Q: If BSD can start to work as long as engine starting?
+
A: Yes, there is : (1). “0” speed activation BSD which mean as long as power on, system start to work;
and (2). 15KM activation BSD, which mean the system has to connect to speed signal wire.
Q: If microwave radar can be used on other applications?
+
A: Yes, our microwave radar(77Ghz-79Ghz) can be used as DOW(door open warning) radar& kick to open sensor& cabin life detection radar etc.
